Spring

In spring, your plant will emerge from dormancy with new growth, developing fresh leaves and small branches as it begins its active growing phase.

Summer

During summer, your plant will be fully leafed out, displaying a strong, healthy canopy while continuing to grow and strengthen its branches.

Autumn

In autumn, your plant will prepare for dormancy, gradually shedding its leaves and slowing its growth as it transitions to its resting phase.

Winter

During winter, your plant will be bare, with no leaves, as it remains dormant, conserving energy until the next growing season.

Unbox and Inspect Your Tree

Unbox your plant immediately upon arrival. Ensure the roots are moist and keep the plant in a shaded area if planting is delayed. A well-hydrated tree is crucial for a smooth transition to its new home.

Prepare the Site and Plant

Choose a location with well-draining soil and the right amount of sunlight for your plant. Dig a hole twice the width of the root ball and as deep as the root system. Set the plant in place, gently spreading the roots, and backfill with soil. Water thoroughly to settle the soil.

Water and Mulch

Water regularly to keep the soil moist but not waterlogged. Apply a 2-3 inch layer of mulch around the base, ensuring the mulch doesn’t touch the trunk. This will help retain moisture, prevent weeds, and regulate soil temperature.
